Strengthening the parent-teacher partnership.
DailyChildcareReport is a new service that has been created for daycares and other childcare programs to streamline the daily communication with parents. It allows teachers to quickly enter reports about the children’s day, make requests (more diapers, for instance), and send them to the parents.
Parents receive their reports by email or as text message on their mobile phone, and they can communicate via DailyChildcareReport to send notifications to the teacher (child is sick at home, for example).
Trending graphs are automatically generated for individual children and groups. They can provide insights, like how the Tuesday mornings yoga exercise affect the napping on that day.

How was your child doing in daycare today? Did he eat well? Did she have a good nap? Has anything unusual happened?
With DailyChildcareReport, you get a report every day. The reports are written by your child's caregivers and include answers to all the important questions you have about your child's day. You also get access to the historical data for your child, and the averages in your child's group. You could find out, for example, that your child is eating worse than its peers on average.
You can view reports online, or have them automatically sent to you by email, as a Facebook message, or as a text message to your mobile phone.
Is your child's facility not using DailyChildcareReport yet? Let us know at info@dailychildcarereport.com.
For parents
We don't charge parents.
For childcare facilities
- $3.12 per child per month
- first 30 days are free
For example, a facility with 50 children will be charged $156 per month (plus GST or HST for facilities in Canada). The number of children will be counted every time at the time of invoicing.
How does the 30-day free trial work?
If you cancel within 30 days of signing up, you won’t be charged a thing. If you do choose to cancel your account in the future, you will never be charged again, but you are responsible for charges already incurred up until your cancellation. Refunds can not be issued after your initial 30 day trial and we don’t prorate for partial months.
Do I have to sign a long term contract?
No. DailyChildcareReport is a pay-as-you-go service. There are no long term contracts or commitments on your part. You simply pay month-to-month. If you cancel, you’ll be billed for the current month, but you won’t be billed again.

“I used to have to do this all by hand so this is a huge game changer!”
Candice, dayhome owner
“I am thoroughly enjoying using DailyChildcareReport. I consider it to be an easy and effective way of communicating with my parents and it allows me to hold them accountable for what is expected of them. I think the rating system works very well and is very user-friendly.”
Felicia, daycare teacher
“Seeing on my phone how my son is doing at the daycare is making my days less stressful. I think all daycares should be using this.”
Melody, parent
“As a quality childhood setting we are always looking for ways to improve the services we provide and the DailyChildcareReport is just one way that we support and encourage communication with our families. The report is user friendly and enables early childhood practitioners to quickly and accurately complete daily progress reports for all children that are age appropriate and accessible.”
Shannon, daycare executive director
“I have to say that I am really loving this system. I find it so easy to send out reminders, updates and even special little things that the children do. It's nice to just type it out and with just a tap on the send button it sends to all the patents. It's much easier than having to write it out in their agendas 10 times.”
Roxanne, daycare teacher
